On the 28th of December we will be welcoming Mamilah alongside Ife Ogunjobi, Pleasure Barge and Monzanto Sound to Off The Cuff for a night of jazz, funk and a whole lot of groove. Before the night, get to know Mamilah.
Mamilah are a band drawn from across the Leeds music scene coming together while at Leeds College of Music. Bringing a soulful touch to the avant-garde jazz bursting out of seemingly every corner of Leeds in the last few years. Mamilah straddle the line between being a band for the jazz purists, and a band that anyone can get down and groove to.
Following summer shows at Boomtown & El Dorado the band have had a quiet autumn including some wholesome writing sessions somewhere in the Yorkshire Moors.
