Palace were a pleasant surprise for me. Although I hadn’t listened to Palace in too much depth beforehand, the mixture of classic indie vibes with more atmospheric, slow tracks made for an enjoyable and impressive gig. New releases ‍‍’No Other’ and ‘Heaven Up There’ went down really well alongside the fan favourites ‍‍‍‍‍’Live Well’ and ‘Bitter’. Belgrave provided the perfect venue for an intimate performance, and the fans were on top form adding to an all round good night of fun and music. I look forward to Palace’s next gig in Leeds and I really hope the theft of their van after the gig doesn’t stop them from returning.
