With a deeply interconnected line-up with artists who play together, have produced for one another and who feature each other, We Out Here earns it\u2019s billing as a \u201cWorldwide Family Gathering.\u201d We pick five performances to look out for over the weekend.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Charlotte Adigery – Thursday, 18:20 – Lush Life<\/b><\/h2>\n
Coming off the release of her incredible EP \u201cZandoli\u201d Charlotte Adigery is bringing her creole inspired dark baselines and alt-electro-pop stylings to provide a perfect opening to a jazzy weekend. If you\u2019re someone who might get lost in complex jazz solos and minimalist electronic sounds then you might want to check out Charlotte Adigery\u2019s set to help you \u201cdance until you\u2019re dizzy\u201d (as she might put it) and get you into the perfect mood for the weekend.\u00a0<\/span>
\n<\/iframe><\/p>\n<h2><b>Cosmic Slop – Friday, 12:00 – Love Dancin\u2019<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A party with a purpose. Leeds\u2019 finest party makers head out from their Hope House home to set up to provide you with the perfect Friday afternoon of jazz, soul, disco, breakbeats, euphoric house, hip-hop and Gil Scott Heron spoken word pieces. Having hosted the likes of Gilles Peterson (of course), Floating Points, Hunee and countless more in Leeds you\u2019re sure to hear something great. Cosmic Slop supports MAP Charity who are deserving of your endless support for their work supporting young people in Leeds – <a href=\"https:\/\/mapcharity.org\/\">check out their work here.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Hejira – Friday, 14:20 – Lush Life<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">South East London three-piece formed by musicians who\u2019d met while playing with the likes of Amy Winehouse, Floating Points and Eric Lau. Best enjoyed laying back looking at the sky, letting their sound sink into you as you ease yourself into the first day of the Festival proper.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Skinny Pelembe – Saturday, 19:20 – Lush Life<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Doncaster\u2019s finest and Brownswood regular, Skinny Pelembe was always going to be here. Mixing genres from folk to more experimental electronic elements with his distinctively smooth sound, Skinny Plemebe is one of the most forward thinking artists on the line up. If you\u2019re not really into jazz then you might often find yourself searching for a hook to draw you in and Skinny Pelembe does this expertly.<\/span><br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/3brd5o8yySY\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h2><b>The Comet is Coming – Sunday, 21:30 – Main Stage<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Psychedelic and heavy, the Comet is Coming are not a wind-down act to close the festival main stage come Sunday.
